ABOUT

I was born in Boulder, Colorado and received my initial training at The Boulder Ballet School, where I studied classical ballet, physical theater, modern dance and various other movement disciplines. I received additional training at various summer programs across the country before ending up in New York City on a full scholarship to the Jaqueline Kennedy Onassis School of American Ballet Theatre via the Youth American Grand Prix competition. I became an apprentice with ABT in 2012 and an official member of the Corps de Ballet in 2013 where I remain. Outside of ABT I had the great pleasure of touring with Twyla Tharp Dance and appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live in 2015. Additionally, I am a ballet teacher having taught ballet across the country to all ages.

Beyond dance I am an actor, clown and physical comedian. I was introduced to circus and physical theater at a young age through my father, Peter. He taught me how to juggle, ride a unicycle, and find entertainment value in anything movable. I began my formal acting training at the Barrow Group Theater Company and School where I studied acting on screen, scene study, monologues, improv and clown. I went on to study clown with Jane Nichols, Christopher Bayes, Virginia Scott, Jean Taylor, Stephan Haves, Julia Proctor, Gabe Levey, Merry Conway, and David Shiner. As an extention of clown, I have studied Bouffon with Sophie Amieva and Eric Davis and Commedia dell’arte with Chiara Cimmino and Valerio V. Garaffa. I studied improv comedy at The Upright Citizens Brigade and The Magnet Theater. I have also trained in Alexander Technique with Belinda Mello and worked with vocal coaches Elena McGhee and Dave Demke.

As a choreographer, I participated in ABT’s Innovation Initiative choreographic workshop in 2014 and later ABT’s Incubator in 2019. Also in 2019 I created the ballet “One of Us” on the Boulder Ballet company celebrating the New Horizon’s mission to Pluto. “One of Us” was a collaboration with composer Paul Fowler, costume designer Erica Martin, and lighting designer Craig Bushman. Please visit my CHOREOGRAPHY page for more information.

More recently I have enjoyed making short, mostly silent films. The first of which, “Dans Tes Reves” appeared in ABT’s Moving Stories film festival in the summer of 2020. You can watch some of my films by venturing to the FILM page.

I am continually dancing, choreographing and creating. The NEWS page will have information about where you can see me next.

I am passionate about collaboration and look forward to hearing from you via the CONTACT page.
